Palta (Avocado Pistachio Pâté)

From the kitchen of Nelly Silva at the Casona, Chimbarongo, Cono Sur Vineyards & Winery

2 fresh avocados (palta)
1 package of cream cheese
1 small bunch of fresh chives
Juice of 1 key lime
Salt, to taste

1. Smash/whip avocados with cream cheese. Chop chives. Add into the mix along with salt to taste and lime juice.

2. Place mixture into a small mold lined with crushed pistachio nuts. Chill and serve with baked taco shells or chips.
